Brazos Valley Insurance Agency
began as Dumas Insurance Agency in 1928, owned by Sidney Dumas. We are third-generation family owned and operated
independent insurance agency located in Waco, Texas.
Our office is located in the Forest Park Office building at 7111 Bosque Blvd., Suite 202. We are a service based agency with full attention paid to our clients.
Sidney Dumas’ son-in-law, John E. Goble, Sr. entered the agency in January, 1946 and became a partner of Dumas & Goble Insurance Agency in 1956. After the death of Mr. & Mrs. Dumas, Jean Goble McKinney became a partner in the agency in 1985.
In 1988 Dumas & Goble Insurance Agency merged with another agency to become Brazos Valley Insurance Agency. The merger helped to increase the service to our customers along with availability of insurance.
